: says to Everyone:.... I was in the Healers Wagon. I look down at the green cord bracelet given to me from the Haruspex in the White Bosk Camp. I need to focus and pratice my calling in life and that is to heal. I enjoy I can give back to my people as healer. Yet I always will respect the ways of the Black Wagon of my father. I was working on making my herbal healing tincture and herbal smudge sticks. I smile as it seems the Haruspex like the floral hemp ones I make a lot. Claims that I was right they are relaxing. I trade them smudge sticks and tinctures for readings and trinkets. It is great bartering between us always. I trust completely in the Haruspex guidance. Yet I am starting to think they like my herbal tinctures too much.

: says to Everyone:.... I warned them I only make them when long term storage is required of the herbs I use for healing. Which means it requires alcohol of at least a 75% grade which can be safely ingested such as paga. Yet because we are on the plains and I like to get the highest rate of herbal extraction I use refined sul paga which is basically 95% grade alcohol, which makes mine very potent. Especially my Female Floral Hemp Extractions. I learned of the uses of Female Floral Hemp from my time among the Pani in World's End. My mother's people. I glance down to the signet ring I always wear showing I am the Honorable Noble Daughter of the House of Zyn in World's End. Where the most precious person to me is my grandmother. Only women I know that shorter than me. But she so beautiful with all her grey hair and wrinkles yet every time she insist on more braids in my hair. She really liked my Father. And Loved when she met His father. I always wondered why she had smile talking about him. But not daring touching that subject.

: says to Everyone:.... My Grandmother did not take stabilization serum until recently to treat her serious wound. She so independent and well hates asking for help. People say this the person I get my stubborn nature from I have so restraining. Yet I look at her and see what could have been if I did not need to have my life saved during that ship wreck. Yet I got mother home to her people and met my Grandmother Lady Akani. I swear her and Ru Mother has been friends forever in the Imperial Court. I work to place in the large jars I had brought in market to store tinctures in and such. I add a new strain of female Floral Hemp I have growing at the gardens I now own in my Friend Kayos Village. Where my old Mentor Sumomo lived. They were so close and I know it hurt when she died. But he kept what she want me have safe. I love the Teahouse House Inn there she left me. It so reminds me of World's End. I have debated asking my Grandmother to consider moving there.

: says to Everyone:.... Besides the Female Floral Hemp Strains grown there were specially grown by Lady Sumomo and have amazing healing properties. I use them near the end of my father life to ween him off kanda to die in peace instead of suffering the fate of my grandfather Kutaituchik. Yet I use all my Healing Knowledge I gain over my life and honor to have had great Mentors from all over Gor. So now I use all I learned to aide my Tribe. I sniff the full buds before placing them in the jar to the top. I then go to take the jar over to the keg of sul paga I have for healing is stored in the wagon. I move the jar under the spout then fill it to the where the buds are just covered. I then move to the storing area. I seal the jar with the lid then open the lock cabinet placing it on the lower shelf. I check the jars I have in there moving up the ones ready for use to the top and the others to the mid level showing they are useable but weaker.

: says to Everyone:.... I usually give these tinctures in the in diluted form for treatment as Infusion, Decoction, and Washes. I close the cabinet then clean up my hands before moving back to my workstation table attached to the wagon wall to work on my smudge stick bundles. I cut a piece of 100% male hemp string and rence cord thread dyed in various colors that are 4 times the length of my bundles. I chose today based on the bundles the colors of green, gold, and blue as the Haruspex advise me to use as system to remember what bundles on sight has what herbs in it. I found it brilliant. I place them on the side of the table arranging them in the way I will wrap the bundles. Most smudge bundles I use for healing are a combination of fresh, partially dried herbs about 5 days old and completely dried herbs.

: says to Everyone:.... I first gather the sweet grasses I gather from the on the table. I measure then cut the long grasses down in piles on the table. when I am done laying the bundle when I use the green string it will mean it has sweet grass in this bundle. I then move off to get some small baskets filled partially whole dried herbs which I have rehydrated by laying them on sterile rence cloth I kept warm slightly. I carefully take out the light almost golden green female floral hemp buds I had from my private hemp growing gardening in the Vosk Delta. I smile as I see the buds so full and fluffy like a soft kallia fur. I carefully place the buds on top of the sweet grass piles arranging them where each pile has the same weight and amount of female floral hemp bud. When I wrap gold string on the bundle this will symbolize that there is hemp in the bundle. The buds herbs are no longer brittle but not moist where they can mold for my partially dried herbs in the bundle.

: says to Everyone:.... With the long end of the string, I begin to wrap the bundle tightly, spiraling up towards the top of the bundle. I fold in any stray sprigs, tucking them under the string as I continue to wrap the bundle weaving in the various color in nice design with the plain hemp string. Once I reach the top of the bundle, I continue wrapping, crisscrossing the twine before moving to head back down toward the base. Tie the loose end to the original knot at the base of the stick. I do this same process with each smudge stick bundle. Until all of them are completed to be stored. So I get the best results, i hang these fresh smudge stick on hooks on the back wall area of the healing wagon. I also gather the ones that are ready to be used in baskets to be stored.

: says to Everyone:.... I will be at least 3 hands drying time before I will use this batch smudge sticks. Yet when they are ready, like the ones I have ready to be use. I will light the ends and enjoy the calming herbal scent. I learned some also to let the smell last longer than burning or repeat use they place them in hot water and inhale the steam to relax and heal. I am just glad people use them. Yet I warn people not to abuse it the herbs are not poisonous but I mainly burn these when people are in recovery as they help them sleep and rest which is needed for healing. Or if they have trouble sleeping or just need to calm down. I am very against people poisoning themselves with Kanda. I hope this safer option will be embraced. I move about not cleaning up and sterilizing the healing wagon for use.

: says to Everyone:.... the wagon was cleaned the fire burning strong. They day had been spent helping out, butter had been churned, and put away. Bosk tended, there had been laundry drying on a make shift line but it had been gathered before the sun set. I had taken a bath washing the toils of the day away. Hair was still slightly damp clinging to my back, dampening the tunic worn. I had yet to adjust to the collar round my neck. But it would not define me, or would it. It was a constant struggle these thoughts that worried my mind.

I am Ganzorig, Ubar of the Tuchuks.
So, you've decided to attempt to become Tuchuk. Well, congratulations. That is the first step on what will hopefully be a long journey. However, there are a few things you need to know before you begin this journey.
1. While you may not be Tuchuk, you will still be subject to every single one of our laws. From the highest, to the lowest, we are all accountable to the law.
2. You will not gain immediate prestige. Do not think that because you are somebody on the outside, that you are someone here. Our way of life is different from the rest of the world, and we will keep it thusly.
3. Tuchuk is not a democracy. While, I may employ your opinion on a subject, at the end of the day, I will make the call myself. Tuchuk is a Military Dictatorship.
4. Your rank is not necessarily dependent on how many scars you have. While it is true, you will most likely see the Commanders of a Thousand carry more scars than the Commanders of ten or one hundred, this is not due to their status, as it is experience.
5. We do not use common Gorean weapons here. Our weapons are as follows:

Long Range-Horn Bow
Middle Range- Bola
Short Range- Quiva
Melee Weapons
Long Range-Rope
Middle Range-Lance
Short Range- Quiva
Defensive
Lacquered leather Shield
Conical Helmet w/ Aventail
Now there are a couple things you need to know before you become one of us as well.
You will not be counted as Tuchuk until, if you are a man, you have earned your courage scar. If you are a woman, you will have your nose pierced.
In order to do so, a few things must happen. As a man you must prove yourself courageous. You must perform brave deeds. But there will be more to it than just this. You will also be expected to know our laws and customs before you are admitted to our ranks. For a woman, it is the same, minus performing deeds of excelling bravery.
You must choose, and perform the duties of a specific Clan.
You must abandon worship of the Priest Kings, and adapt to our culture, and the devotion to the Sky.
You must show a familiarity with our social and military structure.
You must show complete devotion to the tribe as a whole, thinking of the good of the many before your own.
You will be expected to follow our customs, insofar as religion, dietary restrictions, slaves, social structure, etc.
You must understand that if you become accepted amongst the Tuchuks, and then choose to leave the Tribe, you will be considered Outlaw. (This means that if you were to ever return you would be subject to summary impalement, or enslavement)
You must show that you not only understand our laws, but are also willing to be subject to them, not only in action, but in punishment as well.

I am Ganzorig, Ubar of the Tuchuks.
So, you've decided to attempt to become Tuchuk. Well, congratulations. That is the first step on what will hopefully be a long journey. However, there are a few things you need to know before you begin this journey.
1. While you may not be Tuchuk, you will still be subject to every single one of our laws. From the highest, to the lowest, we are all accountable to the law.
2. You will not gain immediate prestige. Do not think that because you are somebody on the outside, that you are someone here. Our way of life is different from the rest of the world, and we will keep it thusly.
3. Tuchuk is not a democracy. While, I may employ your opinion on a subject, at the end of the day, I will make the call myself. Tuchuk is a Military Dictatorship.
4. Your rank is not necessarily dependent on how many scars you have. While it is true, you will most likely see the Commanders of a Thousand carry more scars than the Commanders of ten or one hundred, this is not due to their status, as it is experience.
5. We do not use common Gorean weapons here. Our weapons are as follows:
Missile Weapons
Long Range-Horn Bow
Middle Range- Bola
Short Range- Quiva
Melee Weapons
Long Range-Rope
Middle Range-Lance
Short Range- Quiva
Defensive
Lacquered leather Shield
Conical Helmet w/ Aventail
Now there are a couple things you need to know before you become one of us as well.
You will not be counted as Tuchuk until, if you are a man, you have earned your courage scar. If you are a woman, you will have your nose pierced.
In order to do so, a few things must happen. As a man you must prove yourself courageous. You must perform brave deeds. But there will be more to it than just this. You will also be expected to know our laws and customs before you are admitted to our ranks. For a woman, it is the same, minus performing deeds of excelling bravery.
You must choose, and perform the duties of a specific Clan.
You must abandon worship of the Priest Kings, and adapt to our culture, and the devotion to the Sky.
You must show a familiarity with our social and military structure.
You must show complete devotion to the tribe as a whole, thinking of the good of the many before your own.
You will be expected to follow our customs, insofar as religion, dietary restrictions, slaves, social structure, etc.
You must understand that if you become accepted amongst the Tuchuks, and then choose to leave the Tribe, you will be considered Outlaw. (This means that if you were to ever return you would be subject to summary impalement, or enslavement)
You must show that you not only understand our laws, but are also willing to be subject to them, not only in action, but in punishment as well.
WOMEN SPECIFIC

If a character does something that is against the laws of the Tuchuk, said character will be under the discipline of said law. There are some laws that require a character to be considered Outlaw.
Once a character is considered Outlaw, they are subject to summary impalement or enslavement at the Ubar's discretion.
The player is still considered welcome, but it will have to be under a different character.
Out of Character
Discipline out of character will work differently. This will occur in stages.
All offenses from the second until the fourth and final will be recorded on this forum.
If a character does something that is against the laws of the Tuchuk, said character will be under the discipline of said law. There are some laws that require a character to be considered Outlaw.
- Treason: the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.
- Sedition: Overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order
- Dereliction of Duty to the Tribe: The shameful failure to fulfill one's obligations
Once a character is considered Outlaw, they are subject to summary impalement or enslavement at the Ubar's discretion.
The player is still considered welcome, but it will have to be under a different character.
Out of Character
Discipline out of character will work differently. This will occur in stages.
- First Offense: For the first offense there will be a general warning. This will not result in any actual disciplinary action.
- Second Offense: The second offense will be considered a recorded warning. At this point, a forum post will be created for the player.
- Third Offense: The third offense will result in a two week ban from the room, culminating with a meeting with the Room Controller to discuss terms of return.
- Fourth and final offense will result in a permanent ban from the room.
All offenses from the second until the fourth and final will be recorded on this forum.

1. Respect Each Other. This is key. Everyone has opinions. Respect them no matter how stupid you feel they are. If you cannot keep your fat yap shut, and not insult the hell out of someone's thoughts, you will be summarily removed like the little **** you are.
2. Respect the Speaker. Again, pretty damned key. Someone has taken time out of their lives to speak with you about a subject they find dear to their hearts. Don't be a ****.
3. Quiet. Quiet is essential. What this means is there is no unnecessary chatter. Keep that **** to PM.
4. Questions. Questions will be answered during the appointed time. Don't get irritated. Don't be a **** and interrupt the speaker.
5. OOC. These events are entirely OOC. This means that there is no such thing as... **** you are only a slave and therefore have no opinion. If you are such a **** as to not be able to tell the difference between reality and a fantasy... get out.
6. Everyone is welcome. It doesn't matter if they are Gorean, lifestyler, gamer, never heard of gor, think they're a gorean god. Everyone is welcome.
7. Tuchuk rules still apply.

3. Keep questions about the event to private. The best people to ask will be the ones marked Host/Hostess.
